The Black Gold Community Band is a collection of local musicians, representing a broad cross-section of the community. We provide a wide variety of concerts for the Leduc and surrounding area. Originally founded in 1987 as the Leduc Drillers, a marching concert band, we have grown over the years. The band has progressed to the point where both concert and big bands achieved 'Distinction' at the 2003 Kiwanis Music Festival. Our Big Band is currently disbanded due to lack of membership however our Concert Band is currently under the direction of Darryl Braye.
